On Monday, May 4, 2026. Beloved son of Sylvester and Anna Marie Nowakowski; brother of David (Deborah) Nowakowski, Judy (Jeff) Hironimus, Joyce (Joe) Petricca; Janet (Ray) Saracco and Sandy (Jim) Jobkar; Uncle of Dana Bott, Shawn Harris, John Petricca, Christopher Petricca, Taylor Petricca, Christina Feeney, Michael Saville, Nora Hironimus, James Jobkar, Heather Dopplick; Great Uncle of Nina Bott, Evan Malsh, Emily Petricca, Alyssa Feeney, Tyler Feeney, Ryan Nepereny, Maximus Harps, Alexis Tarquinio, Sadie Jobkar, Alora Jobkar, Mason Dopplick, and Caleb Dopplick.

Mark was an excellent guitar player. He loved to entertain his mom at home with his guitar skills while his dad played the mandolin. They would also play their instruments together in the nursing home for Mark's grandmother and at the St. Barbara Church picnic. Mark worked at the family Bike Shop on Carothers Avenue for many years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Corpus Christi Parish, St. Barbara Church on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00pm. Following Mass, Mark will be laid to rest in St. Barbara Cemetery.
