On Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Wife of the the late Joseph Okrutny; mother of Jeffrey (Teresa) Okrutny, Mark Okrutny, and Julie (late Thomas) Franks; Babi of Michael Franks, David (Allison) Franks, Phillip (Katelyn) Franks, and Elizabeth (Joe) Cho; Great Babi to Wyatt, Liam, Tyson, and Vivian; sister of the late Eugene Brem.

Joann graduated as Valedictorian from Scott Township High School in 1951 at the age of 16 years old. She went on to Duff's Business School. She retired from the PA Board of Probation and Parole after 24 years. She donated the altar to the Church in 1983 and was the first woman on the Church committee, holding the office of Recording Secretary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 3:00PM - 7:00PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints P.N.C. Church, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00AM. Following Mass, Joann will be laid to rest in All Saints P.N.C. Cemetery.
