Jay loved his wife and adored his daughter. He was an avid fisherman on his boat with his best buddy, Bob. Jay could fix just about anything; he was a jack of all trades. He loved to travel and enjoyed a good Sunday brunch at the Grand Concourse.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:00am.
