On Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Husband of the late Mary K. Wegemer; beloved father of Maureen (Deacon Kevin) Lander and Mark (Angie) Wegemer; proud Grandfather of Kristen (Matthew) Zerishnek, Phillip Lander, Zachary Lander, William (Christina) Wegemer, and Michelle (Jared) Casaldi; Great Grandfather of Laurel and Andrew Wegemer and Cecilia and Jackson Zerishnek; brother of Mary (Denny) Neupaver and Jude Wegemer.

Jack found some of his greatest joy in the outdoors, especially at his beloved camp, where he loved spending time in nature. He enjoyed feeding the deer and sharing his love of hunting. Jack was a serious card player and enjoyed weekly card night or a trip to the casino. He also loved his manhattans and beer at “happy hour”. He cherished the simple pleasures and the memories they created with family and friends, leaving behind a lifetime of moments that will be remembered and treasured.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where private family visitations will be held at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 10:00AM. Following Mass, Jack will be laid to rest next to his wife, Mary K., in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in St. Mary's, PA.
