On Monday, April 14, 2025, age 77, after a long battle with COPD. Beloved husband of Barbara Housley; loving father of Michlle (Aaron) Slobada, Michael (Pam) Housley and Joseph (former spouse Michelle Housley-Beck) Housley; Proud grandfather of Adam Slobada, Arya Slobada, Lucille Housley, Cadence Housley, and Tessa Housley.

Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending his time with his family and friends, especially at the creek. Ray was known to be a hard worker and a good provider. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. A committal service with full military honors will be held in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1:30pm.
